Throughout Valentino Rossi’s career, he has had a few incredible moments on the track. But few are as increditbe as when Rossi controversially cut through the Corkscrew to overtake Casey Stoner on the 23rd lap of the 2008 U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
To commemorate the iconic event in motorcyle racing history, Yamaha’s papercraft designer Nobutaka Mukouyama created a diorama model depicting Rossi cutting across the corkscrew on his M1. Unfortunately the only missing piece is Casey Stoner onboard his Ducati Desmosedici.
